China Capital Logistics Awarded with “GPLP Most Growth Value Enterprise”

On July 30, the“Enterprise Growth Road 2021 & GPLP Annual Summit 2020”organized by GPLP was held grandly in Beijing. This summit focused on the consumption and logistics fields generally concerned by the investment organizations and by the industry. Experts, scholars, well-known investment organizations in the fields of investment and logistics and outstanding growing representative enterprises in the logistics industry were invited to jointly discuss the industrial new development trend and new industrial investment value under the double-circulation form. As a representative enterprise in the field of automotive logistics, China Capital Logistics Co., Ltd. (China Capital Logistics) was invited to attend the summit.

Founded in 2014, the organizer GPLP is a professional media focusing on the field of venture investment. With the theme "Going forward, continuous growing", this summit aimed to interpret the true essence of industrial investment and the new industrial development pattern. The summit was conducted in the form of a round table forum to discuss how logistics enterprises grow against the risks and how relevant investment organizations boost enterprises to grow up. Wei Ran, the Deputy Director of Strategic Investment from China Capital Logistics, attended the summit and made deep exchanges and discussions with representatives from China Logistics Planning & Research Institute, China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, Beijing Changjiu Logistics Co., Ltd. and Beijing Zhongwu Huizhi Technology Co., Ltd., etc. 

Wei Ran reviewed the risks and opportunities encountered by logistics industry in the past year. Since the outbreak of the pandemic in early 2020, China's logistics industry underwent a huge test. In order to fully support customers' resumption of work and production and logistics guarantee for key projects, China Capital Logistics became the first unit resuming work in the automotive logistics industry. At the early stage of the pandemic, the company actively adjusted the allocation of transportation resources, transported goods to Wuhan against all odds, supported Beijing Benz's resumption of production and work, and realized 100% restoration of road, rail, and water transportation capacity on February 20, 2020. Meanwhile, China Capital Logistics tried its best and gave play to its own advantages to make contributions to the society and serve customers during the pandemic. China Capital Logistics successively transported the pandemic prevention goods to the regions hardest hit by the pandemic such as Wuhan, Huanggang and Xiaogan for several times; assisted Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform to purchase mask machines to Beijing ; guaranteed the transportation tasks of BAIC Group's pandemic prevention materials. While undergoing the test of the pandemic, China Capital Logistics' supply chain service capabilities were verified and improved, and its values in the supply chain services were highly recognized by customers. Under the pressure of the pandemic, its turnover maintained steady growth. Its revenue exceeded RMB 8 billion in 2020, ranking the 35th place among the top 50 logistics enterprises of China in 2020 and the third place in the automotive logistics industry. 

As the pandemic is normalized, China Capital Logistics has also begun to focus on thinking and planning for the future development direction. Wei Ran pointed out that, the outbreak of the pandemic made customers lay more importance on stable and efficient supply chain services. Meanwhile, China Capital Logistics also notices that the rise of new energy automatic vehicles under the requirements of carbon neutrality and carbon compliance will have a huge impact on the development of traditional vehicles. The impact of the automotive industry is not simply "weather change", but "climate change."

In response to the "new climate" of the automotive industry, China Capital Logistics clearly stated the strategic goal of growing into a technology-driven smart logistics enterprise in the 14th Five-Year Plan. Based on this goal, it initiated the "Circle-breaking Action". The “Most Growth Value Enterprise Award” was also specially set in this summit to select specific representatives of top companies with strong growth potential in the subdivisions and build a bridge for understanding and communication between investment organization and the growing enterprises in the subdivisions.
